Robert Morrison -
Head
Instructor
Proud father of 3: Serenity 13 (2nd
Dan), Jada 11 (1st Dan) and Roman 7 (still working on Black
Belt!). I have been training at LMA Renton since its inception
in 1996. Prior to Tae Kwon Do, I wrestled for 7 years. In
1998, as a full time student at UW, a 24 year old husband and
father of 2, we bought the school and became full time
professional martial artists.
I love seeing students gain confidence, coordination, and
skills, as well as losing weight. I learn from all the students
on a daily basis. I love the "Tae" (kicking) and "Kwon"
(punching), but the "Do", the Way, has taught me the most, the
discipline and focus it takes to be successful. I love teaching
Black Belts and giving them the opportunity to lead. I would
like to open more schools and provide lucrative careers for
martial artists with passion and the desire to never stop
learning.
I enjoy training, reading, movies with family and friends, bike
riding, and the many opportunities of traveling that Tae Kwon Do
has provided me. I also love MMA!
Some of Instructor Robert's achievements include:
- 1999 to 2008 National Heavy Weight competitor
- 2001 US Nationals Gold Forms
- 2002 US Nationals Bronze Sparring
- 2002 US Team Trials
- 2002 US Nationals Silver Forms
- 2003 US Nationals Quarter Finals
- 2005 AAU Quarter Finals
- 2006 US Nationals Silver Sparring
- 2006 US Nationals Silver Forms
- 2007 MMA debut - win in round 2
- 2007 2nd Degree Blue Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Geofrey Driver
My martial arts training began in 1967 at the
Louisiana Karate Association in
New Orleans.
I studied Shotakan karate under Master Takiuki Makami and
earned the rank of 1st Kyu (Gup) brown belt.
The traditional instruction that I received focused on
basics, forms, and philosophy.
This was the foundation and backbone of my martial arts
training, an experience that changed my life forever.
In 1971 my family moved to
Florida where I began to study Tang Soo Do
Moo Duk Kwan from Charles Blackburn.
On May 22nd, 1973, I tested for and received
my 1st Dan black belt under Sabunim Blackburn and Master
Jae Chal Chin, president of the American Tang Soo Do Federation.
After a long sabbatical, I met a veteran
Hapkido/Tae Kwon Do instructor named Stewart Hamilton.
I progressed to 6th Gup blue belt in Hapkido
under his tutelage.
I am excited now to be continuing
my training along with my daughter, Isabella, at Lee’s Martial Arts
Academy under chief instructor Robert Morrison.
Sabunim Morrison’s gracious invitation to join the SWAT team and
become the Program Director at LMA has rekindled the flame of my
first love, the Martial Arts.

Doug Brandt
Doug began his involvement in Tae Kwon Do, and Lee’s Martial Arts,
in March 2001. Doug initially got
involved with martial arts to increase the confidence of his then 7
year old daughter Alexa.
Doug and Alexa have been active in Tae Kwon Do ever since and
recently (July 2007) earned their 2nd degree Black Belts.
Doug’s younger daughter Amy began training in 2003, at age 6,
and earned her 1st degree Black Belt in December 2007.
Doug has been active in SWAT since its inception.
This involvement has allowed Doug to contribute to the
success of the school through planning events, teaching, and
developing curriculum. SWAT
participation provides a way to give back to the school after
receiving so much.
Doug also has a keen interest in martial arts photography.
On most belt test nights you can see Doug running up and down
the mat with a video camera in hand to capture some of the great
moments during belt testing.
Doug also loves to use his photography skills to create teaching
materials for the students.
The large posters of the various forms displayed in the school are
some of the projects that Doug and his daughters have created.

Brian
Sensenbach
Brian is a 1st Dan black belt pursuing the
rank of 2nd Dan. He started as a parent spectator of his
then 6 year old son Emmett in 2001. After a year of

rank of Black Belt in 2007.
Brian began in the Masters Club in 2005, the SWAT program
(Special Winning Attitude Team) in 2006, and the RTA sparring
program for a short time from 2006 to 2007 and enjoys the
challenges of each. He likes to lead by example and
encourages all students to do their best, using Effort and
Enthusiasm as a beginning baseline. Brian believes with

Jodie
Wilson
Jodie and her two grade school kids
started Tae Kwon Do in March 2006 as an athletic activity to
enjoy together.
Jodie has quickly run up the belt ranks in part due to her 12
years of dance and gymnastics experience.
Her asthma has improved immensely from her training and she
feels GREAT! Jodie’s children have
benefited from the 5 Tenets of Tae Kwon Do: Courtesy, Integrity,
Self-Control, Perseverance, and Indomitable Spirit and the
Children’s Home Rules.
The Tae Kwon Do has also complimented their gymnastics training.
In December 2006, Jodie was invited to
join SWAT which has been an exciting experience.
Jodie likes helping make LMA the best
family martial arts program around.
Besides breaking boards, learning
various weapons, inspirational instructors, and family
atmosphere, Jodie has enjoyed teaching Tae Kwon Do. She assists
in Lil’ Ninjas and Lil’ Kickers classes and teaches family and
beginning adult classes in Maple Valley which allows her to work
with people of all ages.
Jodie plans to make Tae Kwon Do a part
of her life for as long as humanly possible.
Maureen Jordan
Maureen's interest in Tae Kwon Do started in the spring of 2005.
While she was in Hawaii visiting her brother, she went to watch
her three young nephews during their TKD classes. After
observing a couple of classes, she couldn't help but notice what
a great work out it was and what an inspiring atmosphere the
Dojong was. She was greatly impressed by the feeling of
family, respect and discipline. Upon her return home, she
sought to find a TKD school like the one her nephews attended.
It didn't take long for her to find Lee's Martial Arts and to
realize that this was where she wanted to practice TKD.
Since joining Lee's Martial Arts, Maureen has enjoyed being
involved in the Black Belt club, the SWAT team and teaching the
Friday evening white belt class. Lee's Martial Arts has
taught Maureen that it is in discipline that you learn, it in in
perseverance that you advance, it is in respect that you create
family and it is in giving that you receive. She is
grateful for the family that Lee's Martial Arts has become.
It is Maureen's goal to get her black belt in December 2008 and
all her efforts are dedicated to her nephews who first inspired
her.
